When we set out to start a home building business in the middle of one of the worst housing slumps ever, people thought we were crazy. Instead of focusing on the dire state of the industry, we set about becoming a different kind of home builder. Our company combines design and construction into a seamless process that takes each project from a drawing and a dream every step of the way until the house becomes a home.

Our Story:
Tresidio was initially conceived while Russ and Jon were obtaining Bachelor’s degrees in Construction Management at Brigham Young University. They had the opportunity to work together on two different national student competition teams. After months of preparation, both teams won national championships, including the residential student competition hosted by the National Association of Home Builders. While in school, Jon focused on the design aspect of construction through his internships and work experience. Russ focused on hands-on trade and management experience. As a result of their respective experience and talents, Jon coordinates the design and pre-construction side of Tresidio while Russ oversees the project management and financial aspects of the company. Both Jon and Russ continue to pursue education in the industry by attending training seminars, annually traveling to the International Builder’s Show, and becoming involved in the local industry groups and associations such as the Building Contractors Association of Southwest Idaho.
